There are some major changes taking place in the Urban Saints activities programme.
All activities, including CRUSOE, will be primarily developed from the grass roots instead of from the Support Centre.  This means that Groups, Regions and Nations will be involved in planning activities and deciding where to go on their overseas mission trips.  Future activities will need to be group-centric, i.e. there primarily to serve groups, to include specific opportunities and roles for emerging leaders (16s to 25s) and to be financially self funding.
Because of this, we are entering a time of "pruning to grow".  This does not mean that the work of Urban Saints is diminishing in any way, but there will be a "slimmed-down" activities programme in 2009, providing space for a new programme to launch in 2010.
Therefore, there will be NO CRUSOE programme in 2009.

Re:Act in Moldova
There is a possibility that a team will travel to Moldova in July/August 2009 for a Re:Act-style event.  This will involve taking inflatables, learning to face paint and hair braid and working with churches to run Fun Days and "Church Outdoors".  A decision as to whether this will run will be made by the end of 2008 and the news will be posted here.  In the meantime, if you would like to register your interest in being part of this team, email lellis@urbansaints.org .
